Mr. Sherer has been in private practice in the San Antonio area since 1987. He attended St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1986. While attending St. Mary's, Mr. Sherer was Dean of the Beckett Senate, the local chapter of the Delta Theta Phi Law School Fraternity.
He is licensed to practice in all state courts in the State of Texas. He is licensed to practice in the following federal courts:
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
Western District of Texas
Northern District of Texas
Southern District of Texas
He is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law and in Residential Real Estate Law, and has been certified since 2001, by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has also been Board Certified In Property Owners Association Law since 2021. His areas of practice include the following:

Mediation services are can also be provided for all types of disputes, whether in litigation or not. Although Mr. Sherer is available for all types of mediation cases, he is very experienced in the above listed areas and would be a very effective intermediary/mediator in these types of cases.
Mr. Sherer founded this firm in 1996, as a sole proprietorship, added staff and attorneys over the course of a few years, and then reverted back to being a sole proprietor. Mr. Sherer strives to continue to provide the high quality of legal services his clients have come to expect.
